Title: Senior Manager or Director Digital Marketing

Location: Austin, TX

Position:

This key position reports directly to the Vice President of Ecommerce. The position has P and L ownership of all Digital Marketing programs. This position manages two to four direct reports. The successful candidate will work closely in a collaborative manner with internal functional partners in Analytics; Design; Front End Development; Back End Development; and Operations to accomplish the common goals of the organization.

Specific Responsibilities:

x25CF; P and L ownership of all Digital Marketing Programs:
x25CB; SEM, Affiliate Marketing, Re:Marketing, Email Marketing and possibly SEO.
x25CF; Primary KPIs are Digital Marketing Revenue, Cost per Acquisition and the ROI of Digital Marketing investment.
x25CF; Manage the annual marketing planning process. Top down, bottom up and reconciliation of revenue and marketing spend by channel and month.
x25CF; Ownership of the marketing budget. Ongoing oversight and management of monthly marketing spend by channel. Constant monitoring of ROAS and Marketing ROI performance against establish goals
x25CF; Plan and coordinate execution of quarterly and monthly marketing calendar across all marketing programs.
x25CF; Management of external SEM agency:
x25CB; KPIs include Revenue, ROAS and Marketing ROI.
x25CB; Develop optimal strategies for structure of SEM program.
x25CB; Monitor competitor bidding of Domain terms and take corrective action.
x25CB; Continual A/B testing of landing pages to optimize SEM results.
x25CB; Continually test new paid marketing opportunities.
x25CF; Management of external Affiliate Marketing agency:
x25CB; Establish and communicate standards to Affiliate network and publishers.
x25CB; Ensure continual compliance to standards by all publishers.
x25CB; Continually test commission rates to optimize Marketing ROI.
x25CF; Management of external Re:Marketing vendor:
x25CB; KPIs include CPC; Impressions; CTR; Conversion; ROAS; and Marketing ROI.
x25CB; Ensure most relevant marketing message is presented.
x25CF; Management of Email Marketing Program Manager:
x25CB; Regular review of strategies, tactics and results against objectives.
x25CB; KPIs include open rate, CTR, RPE, Revenue and Marketing ROI.
x25CB; Ability to back up Email Manager to send segmented campaign emails.
x25CF; Lead monthly Digital Marketing review with VP Ecommerce and COO.
x25CF; Continual monitoring of competitive and other industry Digital Marketing programs to identify and test new best practices.
x25CF; Management of all external vendors in functional area of responsibility.
x25CF; Oversight of all Digital Marketing vendors including the RFP process, negotiations and onboarding.

Core Competencies and Skills:

x25CF; Understanding and proficiency with Google AdWords and Google Analytics (or comparable web analytics platform).
x25CF; High level of proficiency in Excel including pivot tables and Vlookups.
x25CF; Ability to lead, manage and develop a highly effective Digital Marketing team.
x25CF; Strong project management skills.
x25CF; Exceptional verbal and written communication skills utilizing tools such as Power Point.
