2003 Big Dog Chopper

For Sale is an amazing "Easy Rider" inspired 2003 Big Dog Chopper. I am the third owner. I have the bill of sale from the guy that sold it to me. He bought it on Full Boar Cycle from Hurst Texas in 2007. I bought it in 2009. It is a softail which has a piston underneath which helps absorb the bumps on the road which makes it easy on your back. 2003 was the last year that Big Dog was buying Harley frames. After 2004 they started building "in company". For that reason most parts for my 03 Big Dog uses Harley Davidson parts from 2001-2003 softail. The rest is S&S ENGINE parts. Makes fixing my girl super easy which makes it the best of both worlds. It had less than 2000 miles on it when I bought her. First thing I did after purchase was to have a mechanic look at it. I choose the wrong shop! The "mechanic" told me the transmission was damaged. It wasn't, he was trying to screw me. Unfortunately he tore it apart. At the time Baker Transmission had a rebuild special where you could send your Transmission and they would replace the interior in your Transmission shell. Baker fixed it and actually charged me less than the agreed price. They said that there was nothing wrong with my transmission. That is how I got a new transmission on a motorcycle with less than 2000 miles. The bike has 8070 with with a transmission that has 6000 miles on it. She was originally half flag half gray. It was supposed to look as if the gray was pealing off and the flag was painted underneath. It was more gray than flag. I had her painted all flag and without missing a beat everyone who saw her would say "when are you going to paint the frame?" That is why i also painted the frame. The paint, the eagle-flag mirrors, the eagle gas cap, the handle bar flag grips, USA letters on gas tank, the led lights, the fast induction air filter, super G carburetor, gun foot pegs, flying eagle kickstand, new starter, sissy bar with custom back rest pad, luggage rest bar, custom 2-up seat, Samson Big Guns 2 1/4 "Upper Cut" non baffled exhaust pipes.I got a state inspection and it passed. Got it Dyno tested and the carburetor was upgraded. All the repairs, purchases and maintenance have been saved. The engine is a 107ci (1,750cc) engine with a 6 speed overdrive transmission.
The bike has some issues. The paint has some scratches, nothing that pops out at you. Both tires should be replaced but are still drivable. The infinity led light on the primary works on and off. Mechanically she is sound. The S&S 107 engine is made for the open road and with the transmission's overdrive it makes for an awesome ride!! The reason for selling it is that i injured myself and can't really ride her safely anymore.
I am asking 8999.00 cash. If you want to test drive her you must put cash in my hand first.
