A project of The Anywhere Woman Project (TAWP), is a new non-profit online platform that launched in May 2017. HERdacity is dedicated to building a community where women come together, learn from each other, share their stories and encourage one another to live a life of authenticity and daring. We are a positive, non-political, affirming and emboldening outlet for women to pursue their destiny and find others who share their interests, and encourage their growth and daring. We’re creating a movement and changing the culture—one woman and one engagement at a time.

TAWP/HERdacity is seeking a passionate and experienced President + CEO for a full-time position to drive this movement, embody our mission, power our growth and expertly oversee our day-to-day operations. The President + CEO will develop a deep knowledge and understanding of HERdacity’s movement and mission, budget and financial needs, online platform and digital strategies, marketing and advertising, non-profit operations, personnel, stakeholders and strategic goals to ensure HERdacity’s continued success. This position reports to TAWP’s Board of Directors and manages 2.5 full-time positions. The position will be housed at the HERdacity office in Austin, Texas, and offers a competitive salary.


Strategy + Leadership

Lead HERdacity’s continued expansion and growth, including the development of strategic and fundraising plans that includes short- and long-term approaches for growth, support, differentiation and success.
Creatively and successfully drive HERdacity’s cultural change movement to empower more women to define their own roles, encourage their daring, achieve the goals they set for themselves and to be who they want to be—not who someone else tells them they should be.
Strategically build the HERdacity community through growth of its digital platform—which means having proficiency in growing and sustaining an effective online presence—including increasing visibility, social media channels, marketing and advertising efforts, overall strengthened member engagement and other identified strategies.
Ensure overall tone, direction and messaging across all platforms and with all vendor work is consistent with HERdacity’s empowering mission and ambitious goals.
Develop, energize and support a strong and diverse Board of Directors and Advisory Board, including seeking and building Board involvement with strategic direction for growth, operations and expanded reach, as well as HERdacity’s overall movement.
Identify and strategically engage like-minded Co-Conspirators, partners and funders to support HERdacity’s movement and success across the country and the world.

Fundraising + Growth
Explore and develop revenue-generating and fundraising/monetization activities to support existing operations and continued expansion.
Identify and cultivate individual, corporate, grant-making and women-focused and supportive funders to achieve financial goals.
Build local, state and national strategic partnerships, establishing relationships with like-minded organizations, to continue building HERdacity’s digital platform and reach.

PR + Communications
Create an external local, state and national presence that communicates HERdacity’s mission and movement with an emphasis on the successes of the digital platform and the stories of its members to create greater momentum and awareness.
Act as the public speaker and public relations representative in ways that strengthen HERdacity’s profile and lead to a greater understanding of the movement with increased support and engagement.
Deepen and refine all aspects of communications—from web presence to public relations with the goal of creating a stronger brand, increased growth of the digital platform, amplification of support to garner new opportunities and increase visibility.

Management + Operations
Lead, inspire, support and develop HERdacity's professional team to ensure their greatest growth and highest success.
Oversee HERdacity’s non-profit business affairs, including development and management of budget and investments, consistency with TAWP bylaws, timely filing of financial reports and tax filings, and compliance with non-profit and other laws and regulations.
Ensure effective systems to track progress and regularly evaluate program components, to measure successes that can be effectively communicated to the Board, members, funders and other stakeholders.

The President + CEO will be fully and demonstrably committed to HERdacity’s mission, movement and growth. All candidates should have proven experience and success in leadership, digital platforms fundraising/monetization, marketing and advertising, program growth, public relations and communications, non-profit operations and finances, personnel management, and effective Board and vendor relationship management.

Required Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration or related field, with at least six (6) years of senior management experience and a minimum of four (4) years of non-profit/movement management experience.
Demonstrated track record of effectively leading and scaling a local, state or national program with performance- and outcomes-based organization and staff; demonstrated fundraising ingenuity and success; ability to point to specific examples of having developed and operationalized strategies that have taken an organization to the next stage of growth.
Unwavering commitment to women’s issues, movements and programs using data-driven program evaluation combined with strategy, connections and creativity.
An action-oriented, entrepreneurial, adaptable and innovative approach to success with passion, integrity, a positive attitude, collaboration, and a mission-driven and self-directed style.
Demonstrated knowledge, use, proficiency and success with increasing and sustaining online user growth and engagement with digital growth strategies and channels/platform, marketing and advertising, fundraising/monetization, and with the ability to engage and effectively work with a wide range of stakeholders and cultures.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience in public relations; persuasive speaker and passionate communicator with excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary project skills.
Demonstrated excellence, effectiveness and knowledge in non-profit organizational management and compliance, including the ability to coach staff, manage and develop teams, set and achieve strategic objectives, and effectively build/manage a budget and investments.
Demonstrated success working with Boards, partners and other stakeholders, with the ability to cultivate strong and effective external relationships.
