In collaboration with patients, families (as defined by the patient) and staff across all disciplines and departments is responsible for managing the financial eligibility program including planning, development, implementation, training, and on:going maintenance.Manage the eligibility program to ensure that patients are enrolled in eligible financial programs and given access to appropriate healthcare providers.Manage the activities the financial screening staff who assists individuals in obtaining appropriate funding for healthcare needs.Monitor changes to regulatory guidelines and requirements and coordinate the implementation of changes into daily program activities including automated tools.Identify and implement changes to processes and procedures that enhance program efficiencies.Review and analyze program issues and complaints and coordinate resolution and follow:up.Coordinate implementation of standardized financial eligibility tools, monitor and review activities including conducting audits for compliance to regulatory guidelines.Plan, create, implement, and maintain financial eligibility training programs.Perform other duties as assigned. PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIESEnsure that all client inquiries and requests for assistance are addressed in a timely and professional manner through a well:trained and properly:directed staff.Ensure that all documentation is in compliance with regulatory and financial compliance.Develop and maintain positive working relationships with clients, co:workers, outside agencies, and related entities. Maintain up:to:date knowledge of various programs and take the initiative to seek out additional information as needed.Ensure all actions, job performance, personal conduct and communications represent CommUnityCare in a highly professional manner at all times.Uphold and ensure compliance and attention to all company policies and procedures as well as the overall mission and values of the organization.High level of skill at building relationships and providing excellent customer service.Ability to utilize computers for data entry, research, and information retrieval.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work with a diverse client population.Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.Education:BachelorA?s degree in a related field, experience may be substituted for education. Knowledge and Experience:3 years experience in with financial eligibility programs.1 year of supervisory experience preferred.Extensive knowledge of financial eligibility processes and standards.Extensive knowledge of applicable statues, ordinances and codes.Extensive knowledge of social service agencies and programs.
