As a Benefits and Mobility Specialist, you program manage SunPower 401(k) and global mobility programs, and support other benefits programs. You will also be responsible for researching new benefits programs, improving existing programs, monitoring benefits vendors and managing domestic as well as global mobility programs. Our goal is to deliver great employee benefits and mobility options.
What you will do:
:Administer 401(k) and support other U.S. benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA, HSA, EAP, COBRA, leave of absence, time off and relocation programs.
:Serve as a liaison to 401(k) plan administrator and advisers
:Implement benefit functionality in the HR systems, test system functionality to ensure accuracy and prepare ongoing systems reports on benefit programs
:Create and maintain overall benefits content online
:Distribute regulatory notices, fillings and forms including: ACA mandates, plan audits, non:discrimination testing, 5500s, etc.
:Support open enrollment and wellness events
:Evaluate and implement new benefits / market trends to address changing employee / company needs
:Partner with HR, Finance, Payroll and providers
:Oversee all aspects of domestic and international assignments including policy administration, packages, allowances, billing, employee benefits, and assist with extended business travel accommodation arrangements
:Coordinate with outsourced relocation vendors and global immigration service provider to generate relocation and assignment cost projections and present for approval as required, initiate relocations, explain policies, approve policy exceptions.
:Serve as the subject matter expert for the international assignment program and act as the main point of contact for assignees during their assignment. Act as a liaison between host and home country project and human resources managers and domestic HR business partners to ensure the smooth processing of mobilization/demobilization of assignees.
:Partner with external vendor to track and coordinate tax equalization results to ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of the process. Update tax equalization policy as required. Coordinate hypo:tax withholding updates as necessary. Ensure compliance with overseas taxing authorities as it pertains to tax payme
