Provides a variety of general administrative support services to the Chief Disciplinary CounselA?s office. This position involves frequent contact with other departments of the State Bar, its members, and the public. Responsible for timely transmittal of grievance files appealed to the Board of Disciplinary Appeals (BODA) and BODA results entry in the case tracking software. Responsible for the timely file destruction process of dismissed grievances, in accordance with the Texas Rules of Disciplinary Procedure and the office file retention schedule. Assists with the packet preparation for the monthly meetings of the Commission for Lawyer Discipline and the timely mail:out of meeting packets.Responsible for filing, copying, scanning, and faxing of documents for the office. Assists with special projects and runs errands, as necessary. Shares responsibility with other staff members as backup receptionist.Performs other duties as required.High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of two years of related administrative office experience required. Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally on the telephone, in person, and in writing. Requires attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to perform responsibilities with minimal supervision. Requires knowledge of personal computers, Word software, filing systems, scanning/fax equipment, and telephone systems. Requires valid Texas driverA?s license.
