The Technical Trainer develops and delivers world-class technical training to Ping customers, partners, and employees. Works with learning management system (LMS) and other tools to plan, organize, and facilitate face-to-face and web-based instructor-led training. Also works with documentation team to ensure consistency throughout customer information experience. Job Functions: Deliver engaging courses based on pre-determined training curricula. Facilitate instructor-led modules of Ping certification program. Adhere to Ping standards for learning based on research, industry trends, and adult learning methodologies. Interact with customers, employees, and partners to meet all training and certification needs. Validate training content effectiveness. Update job knowledge by tracking research regarding Identity Management, Internet Security, SSO, adult learning, and training-related technologies; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Enhance organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. 50% travel is required Essential Qualifications: Experience training adult learners in a face-to-face classroom environment as well as online Ability to use Microsoft Office Ability to speak clearly and present information succinctly Well-developed grammar and writing skills Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn internet security technology, SSO and Identity Management concepts. (OAuth, SAML, JSON, LDAP, SCIM, and other relevant standards) Experience developing instructor-led, remote/online, and self-paced training materials Bachelor's Degree in linguistics, communications, business management, Information or Instructional Technology, computer science. Past experience and work-related training may be considered in lieu of degree. Previous training and development experience related to Identity Management/SSO or related technologies is required. Prior experience with learning management systems and various learning delivery modalities, such as self-paced learning, mobile learning, instructor-led learning, asynchronous and synchronous e-learning, and blended learning. Proven track record of excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal is required. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to form collaborative relationships with staff, management, and leadership at all levels of the organization. Desired Qualifications: DITA XML knowledge preferred Knowledge of JIRA Complex problem solving Critical thinking Requires minimal management attention-self managed Knowledge of Directory Services technologies and LDAP
