Job DescriptionJob Description:The Center Director will be responsible for the day-to-day and overall operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines while supporting our mission to enhance learning and development for each child. She/he will hire and train all the staff for the school, and implement the curriculum provided by the companyA cents € (TM) s headquarters team. The Director will ensure that the staff provides the best possible learning and care experience for the children in our programs, oversees the curriculum, and markets the facility and our programs. She/he must have extensive knowledge of childcare management and early education and must have the business skills to manage the administrative, operational, and financial aspects of the facility.Responsibilities:Implements school policies, procedures and systems to ensure safe, healthy environment in compliance with Franchise and State Standards at all times. Specific procedures of critical compliance are but not limited to: release procedures, sign in and out, medication, bus run/field trip proceduresPlans and participates responsibly in marketing and special eventsMaximizes occupancy of buildingEffects change required for continual compliance and improvementsRecruits, hires, orients, trains, supervises and evaluates staffManages budget in compliance with corporate guidelinesRepresents the school to public, community, parents, visitors and staff with professionalism and integrityAttends meetings and training as directedBe able to train and teach monthly staff meetings to 20+ teachersConsistently follows through with all duties and miscellaneous duties as assigned in a competent and timely mannerDay to day operations in compliance with Quality Standards of the franchiseWise productive use of timeFollows through with all assigned dutiesCompletes any additional duties as assignedAble to accept and handle changeReceives instruction and direction in appropriate mannerAble to work flexible hoursQualifications:A minimum of 2 years as a Center Director at a licensed childcare center is preferredMust meet all requirements stipulated by the State of TX for this positionPrevious experience operating and managing all aspects of a school with a capacity of at least 100-150 children, including business management, education and continual learning and development, campus environment, and marketing and communicationsClassroom teaching experience in an early childhood facility a plusPleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personalityExcellent interpersonal and leadership skillsExcellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stressStrong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environmentHighly professional and dependableStrong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the internetMust be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situationsCompany DescriptionHaving experience unprecedented growth in past few years, TLE now has more than 175 centers operating in 18 states.
