The Americas Structure includes four operating Business Units: Brazil, Canada, ARYZTA US Baking Solutions and ARYZTA US Consumer Foods, which are serviced by the Americas Central Support Functions covering areas such as Food Safety and Quality Assurance, Environmental Health and Safety, Sustainability, HR, Legal, IT, Finance Shared Services, Procurement, Category Management, and Commercialization.

Key Accountabilities
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments, and preparing items for production by performing the following duties.
:Studies shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping, receiving and production schedules.
:Oversees incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of receipts and shipments.
:Determines space requirements and position of materials received and lays out position of storage and staging.
:Inspects receiving and loading operations to ensure compliance with specifications.
:Inspects material handling equipment for defects and notifies maintenance personnel or contacts outside service facility for repair.
:Directs movement of receipts and shipments to storage and work areas.
:Compiles records of unfilled orders for staging.
:Conducts and documents weekly warehouse inspections, including corrective actions.
:Reviews bills of lading.
:Conducts and maintains inventory of ingredients and materials; and provides inventory reports.
:Issues written and oral instructions.
:Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.
:Maintains harmony among workers.
:Prepares composite reports from individual reports of subordinates.
:Adjusts errors and complaints.
:Maintains good housekeeping principles at all times.
:Enforces Good Manufacturing Practices at all times.
:Directly supervises 3 to 10 employees in the Shipping and Receiving Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications
:Bachelors degree or equivalent; or 3:5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
:SAP or similar ERP knowledge a plus
:Ability to supervise a team
:Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
